The 16/08/08 we flew to Singapore from Darwin. In the morning we said our goodbuys to Rico, Ami & Katarina and headed off to the airport. On waiting at our gate we found it most amusing that the was a whole gatefull of Monks. Having safely landed in Singapore we made our way to our hotel The 7th Story Hotel. The following day we tok a walk to Clarke Quay and they embarked on a journey around the city in a Rickshaw driven by a little 86yr old man. He took us to Little India, China Town and around the CBD. The following day we went down to the nearest STA Travel office and booked our flight over to Bali. Later that day we did a spot of shopping and walked past a salon with a very odd treatment, to which we thought we would give a go. The treatment was called Fish Therapy. Basically we put our feet in with 150 small to not so small minnow or similar fish and watched whilst they ate away our dead skin! A very odd concept but once you get over the initial thought of it and the initial "it feels really odd" feelings its actually quite relaxing and your feet do feel so much softer once your time is up.
With our feet freshly eaten and our flights booked we were ready for the off to Bali the next day.
