Saturday 10th (Happy Birthday Barb!):
Barely had a chance to breathe before we were off again this morning. Had an early start as had to go and visit the farm and drive all the way back home. Should mention at this point our south west tour has been very varied, as we seem to have driven through miles of empty brown fields... then huge farms... then rainforests... vineyards... and along the beautiful coast.
We drove to Harvey to visit some more of the family at their farm. This excursion reminded us of The Simple Life, as would you believe it - Soph and Em milked a cow!! We also fed the pigs, sheep, horses, goats, rabbits and ducks and..... a kangaroo! This was hilarious as you can imagine, don't think we're quite cut out for life on a farm, although we did manage to get quite a bit of milk out of Hazel the cow, not quite enough to have on your breakfast though! And we think Paris the pig took quite a shine to us (no jokes here please!)
After the farm visit we started on our long journey home, to our horror a little way into the journey the ipod ran out of battey! although we did win the cricket which gave us something to brag about - not that we know the first thing about cricket.
We'll love you and leave you now, sorry there is so much to read but had no internet access and alot to get you filled in on. Hope all is well, keep the messages coming!!
Lots of Love Soph and Em x x x
