We explored Ngorongoro Crater today. Because the entry into the crater is via a very steep and narrow track, we left the truck behind for some Landcruisers to take us into the crater. Last night, we heard hyenas and lions around the campsite. Woke up early to leave by 7 for another game drive. We saw everything we wanted to see in the morning. We left at 7:30 am from Tembo Campsite - Lake Victoria, source of the River Nile, was very flat and calm this morning, a change from yesterday evening's windy waves. Stopped in Musoma Village to get some Tanzanian Shillings out and for some people to get SIM cards.
