Yesterday was the anniversary of the death of Václav Havel - the last president of Czechoslovakia and the first president of Czech Republic - who passed away on 18/12/2011. We woke up to a cold and quiet Prague. Sundays start slow for the city - most places don't open until 9:30 or 10 but we were up, ready and out by 9 am - even after having to put on 10 layers! Our last full day in Dubai was a fun one! We embraced the ostentatiousness and opulence of this city - part of what has now become the culture of Dubai.
