I keep looking at my one sad little backpacking and wondering how I can possibly fit all of my things in it (and I'm really wishing I could take Nugget along as well, for company when Carrie and I fight (which we most certainly will do if only to maintain some sense of normalcy)). I have about a hundred little ziplocs filled with things to pack, and I keep squeezing them to try and get a little more air out of them, begging them to defy the laws of science. It all seems a little overwhelming, but I'm really excited, too. In a week, I'll be strolling through Naples with just a backpack and a sister. McNugget, however, is not pleased. She keeps sitting imperiously on my things as if commanding me not to leave her. Just look at that face!
