today we take a stroll in the glorious sunshine from the site, finding the footpath to,the Pollingey Creek from Gerrans. Great walk in woodlands and open fields along the creek leading into Percuil River. WALK8 mile circular, challenging is about right as described by the South West Coastal Walk. A few steep ascents and descents on the coastal path with a few inland but the rest flat. A few places where the dogs needed to be on lead as the cycle path was close to lane and once by a field of sheep. Also most of the coastal path part has very steep cliff edges.  Still enjoyable with great views on the coast and roaming hills, a mix of Woodland, river and coast. ...

Today's walk6.8 miles from St Mawes past the castle and along the estuary to St Just of Roseland Church. Instead of heading inland we chose to return the same way along the waters edge for majority of the way. DOG FRIENDLY yes very, once on the path after walking through the village it was all off the lead to the picturesque village.
