Today we took the car out 4 miles to King Harry's Ferry which has been in operation for hundreds of years. It cuts off a 27mile trip around the River Fal After crossing we arrive a minute later at Trelissick Hse Gardens and Woodland Walks. Arriving around 1130 it was already busy with many people and their dogs. Today's walk From the tent along SW Coastal Path passing Towan beach, Porthbeor Beach onto St Anthony Head. We spent time here looking at the military fort, lighthouse and panoramic views across Falmouth Bay. We then carried on along the SWCPath which takes you up to River Fal to Percuil river and creek back to Porth. The other side is St Mawes and its quays.
