Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I must say, the Americans are serious about their Turkey! We had a fantastic feast here at the Dinuba base (two turkeys and 5 different kinds of pie!). It's fun hanging out at a YWAM base again.25 years ago I went with Youth With A Mission for French Language School and a Discipleship Training School in Lausanne, Switzerland.I love the energy that comes with such an eclectic blend of people working and learning together.A Chico team is here on their way to Fiji.Lana is a lovely young lady from England who is an exchange student at the University of New Mexico.Patrick is a fire fighter/ski patrol who is riding his bike from Salmon Arm to L.A. Henrijs and Lize are from Latvia, Andrzej and Charne are from South Africa... Everyone here is giving of their time, resources, skills, and knowledge, to help feed the hungry around the world.Last year 4.3 million pounds of nutritious food products were packaged and shipped from here to orphans, widows, children, and disaster victims in 30 different countries. We are now part of that incredible blessing as we mix soup, package boxes, load containers, and build housing for more people to come and do the same.
