Hi all!

Hope everyone had a good weekend!!  I had a very quiet one.  Had a bbq with my flatmates and the irishguys in the flat downstairs.  Everyone went out after  but I stayed in.  Kind of glad because they were all dying the next day.  Went to the factory outlet yesterday and bought work clothes (boooooring).  Last night my friend soraya was staying over so i had to go get her from the train station in my jammies at 1am, it was freezing.  Its starting to get pretty cold here now.  Didn't sleep well last night at all  as the indian guys directly below us were listening were having an indian rave!!!  It sounded painful.

Started my new job as a receptionist with an advertising agency today.  Its a really cool place and lots of interesting stuff goes on  but its a bit scary.  I have to look after the switchboard by myself and today ( a quiet day) I had on average 6 calls in the system at once and if they dont go through more and more get bounced back to me - argh!!!!!!!  I also have to answer the phone 2 different ways as the company is split into two depending on the code that comes up on the screen - unbelievably confusing.  I also have to make announcments on the tannoy - whitey!!  I have to get to know all of the  80 people that work there, my head is pounding just thinking about it!!  Still, all of the people are nice and we even play bingo over the tannoy every morning!!
