Hi all!!

Its tuesday moning and its raining yet again!!!  Yesterday it rained all day.  I completed 2 agency interviews and don't think I got anywhere!!  I have another one this afternoon so I will just have to cross my fingers and toes.  I also got a phone call from the gym yesterday.  I had entered a competition to win an ipod speaker thing last week but instead i won a runner up prize of a months free gym.  I Still think i would be happier with the speaker but at least it will give me something to do of an evening.

I met up with trisha (one of the girls i met in cairns) yesterday.  She was in perth for a day before heading up the coast.  It was so nice to have a decent conversation again!!  We went to the museum and then some freaky art gallery.  Some of the films that were in the 'art' gallery really freaked me out and left me feeling a bit depressed.  Why is art always so dark?!!

Trisha and i had a few beverages in my hostel as I had a sneaky stash of free drink vouchers.  It was weird to be drinking as I havent drank in a week.  Everyone thinks I must be drinking lots because im a traveller but i have to say, I drink much less than i used to at home!!  Some of the guys had found a dead mouse and were chasing each other round the hostel with it - so charming!  I think trisha was a bit shocked by it all so I walked her home.  Didn't have to move rooms afterall yesterday so Im still sharing a mixed dorm with 6 others (or 7 as there was last night).

Things are okay in perth, although  i think it will take a while for my feet to get used to wearing shoes again (gypsy).Better go and hunt for jobs again and do some washing.
