well hello there

What an afternoon! I have just got back from school and i came in a matatu (minibus) with about 60 chickens. I spent the whole journey trying not to get pecked and holding my breath as they smelt soooooo bad! But i made it! ;)

This week has been so much fun, my class have been amazing and they are really starting to speak up more and become more confident. On wednesday they all brought me presents, it was so overwhelming i had avocados, passion fruits, papayas, maize and tomatoes it was amazing. They were all so excited about giving them to me. It feels really strange when you know they have so little to take off them but its really offensive not too here, so I went home carrying all of the goodies and santos (our cook) prepared them all for us. Ive been teaching p2 for a few weeks now and ive been taking english so yesterday when they asked me to go up to p3 i was a little bit scared. I did it though and it wasn't so scary, there english is a little bit better than that of p2 so they understood me fairly well. Im back with p3 on monday as well as teaching p5 maths (yes maths i know). I think im going to be studying lots this weekend!
