Day 2 in Barcelona is a Sunday and believe it or not, no shops open on Sunday's in Spain! So after 14 hours of much needed sleep, we were ready for action! Due to so much of Barcelona closed, we did the tourist "thing" again and got back on the bus, to see the bits of the city we missed yesterday! Spent quite a bit of time at plaza espagna and the magnificent national museum of art! After this we made our way to Port Vella for a late lunch- tapas, paella and Sangria....again- just can't get enough!
In making our way back to hotel for a rest about 6pm we managed to get lost in the gothic quarter, which is just a jumble of small alleys, that all look the same! Finally made it back and decided on a nap before going to dinner! Except we never made it to dinner, we slept through till morning!
