Well, I managed to find some flora fossils before a thunderstorm came along and ran me out of the digsite. It was fun and I'd like to go back to try for more. I got to keep 3. The site was the bottom of a lake bed in the Eocene era (49-50 million years ago!). I recommend the experience if you find yourself in the area.

After that, I took a long ride to Chris' condo in East Wenatchee. I expect to lounge here for a day or two before moving on.
