Round the world in 150 days
I just lost the entire Journal entry that i had put in and so now i've gotta do an abridged version so that i can go get some thermal underwear for the London weather that i was not expected.
I'm leaving today. I woke up at 4.30am to Donna Summer and Babs singing "It's raining, it's pouring, my love life is boring me to tears, after all these years". Yeah Babs, whatever. Coffee with Opes and Sue at Silo. But walking there on my last day in Oz for a few months, there are hundreds of shrieking cockatoos. It's pretty spectacular and funny seeing them attacking the crows.
Adam and I are driving to Sydney soon. I had my student ID card sent to the STA travel agent in Kings Cross as an excuse to go to my favourite cafe in the world.
Everyone's been asking me if i'm scared and i say 'well i was last week, but now... No'. I'm just looking forward to the adventure.
Nb: Aim of trip shopping-wise: Crystal cut cocktail shaker which will probably be EXORBITANTLY priced but c'est la vie.
