Hi everyone! Yesterday was our last day in Madrid! We have been having breakfast at the hotels…it is buffet style with lots of bread, ham (different then America), cheese, fruit, juice, puddings, etc. This is not a normal breakfast for Spain though. Usually they have a coffee and a piece of bread. Hate to say it but I've only been here for about 4 days and I'm already sick of bread! It will take some getting used to. Hello from Madrid! I am finally here. We got to our hotel (hotel nacional) at about 11:30am Spain time. I am very tired but I went out for "tapas" with new friends! We walked around this city a little...not knowing where we were going. Now we are resting for a bit before we go on a bus tour of the city! We then have a group meeting at 7 about everything Spain could bring us! Not too much action yet, just wanted to let everyone know I arrived.
