Konnichiwa!
Well, I didn't think i'd be all over this blog so early on in my travels, but I thought i'd start it whilst i'm on here.

The journey was standard- long and boring. Plane food was bloody good again though! Made my high standards. Gave me gas.- You know how it is! So I'd like to apologise to the young lady in seat 40J. Hopefully she thought it was the old man to her left. I　disguised it well be 'sleeping'. Was fool proof.

I welcomed Tokyo with Western Man Sweats. I smelt good. Like reaal good! Unfortuently the dabbing of wet toilet paper on pits trick failed me.

The hightlight of my 6000 mile trip so far was the third leg of the train to the hostel. With Japan being at the forefront of technology there was this one joker with a mobile with a massive extendable arial, hand in the air trying for signal! Accompaying this classic site was the addition of what can only be described as a 'grey pube' attached to this blokes glasses. It was a sight and a half!
I had to stay focused though, because missing my stop would not be as amusing!

I've just literally wandered the streets of Tokyo sporting shorts, bright blue vest and my trilb. This look made me stand out even more, considering everyone else were kitted out in suits! Like, EVERYONE else. So I blended in well. Also took me 2 hours to find a packet of crisps and a 'Western looking' person.
Still, everyones friendly and happy which makes things easier. So, so far, so good. And I've yet to get lost!
