hello! i tried to put some photos on but it wont work on this computer. everything here is grand, we have booked our bus to leave Pai tomorrow and spend one night in Chaing Mai - to see the night market and then fly down to bangkok and then onto the islands, we have yet to see a beach... the full moon party will be on the islands a fedw days after we arrive, time for us to get settled and find our feet. the food is amazing, we all got really into the thai food but have recently got fed up with rice or noodles and we had our first tuna bagette yesterday :). we have hired bikes and been to the waterfalls, although it was a much bigger effort than first thought with the gradients in thailand being somewhat excessive, cycling for a few hours at a time. but we got there and back in one piece. and i was the only one who fell off my bike - while stationery, i dont think i could do it again if i tried.

everyone is fine and looking forward to the change of scenery - spectacular scemery - and on way to islands.
