We set off for Hluwewe Game Reserve, Dad driving the first 170km, then I took over. Nice to see that he left me take over on the last stretch which was the worst, only one lane with people trying to overtake & him moaning when I moved over the yellow line to let them past.We entered through Memorial Gate. The roads were paved but with massive potholes every few hundred yards. We had not driven very far, when right alongside the road was a watering hole (more like a ditch) which contained a very happy family of rhino's - mom (looking fierce & checking us out), dad who was wallowing & baby who appeared to be struggling in the mud which was very deep. Such a shame that we did not have camera's available. After that we also spotted: giraffe, zebra, impala, buffalo, baboons and nyalaOur little lodge is rather nice.... no.14 and sleeps 4. We think my brother may turn up tomorrow, which will be quite nice as he has a massive car that will go on dirt roads and is high to see out of.
