The best month of my life is over now, and tomorrow I'm off to Kenya.
Harnas Wildlife foundation is a fantastic farm with lions, cheetahs, baboons and many other animals. We were 25 voluteers taking care of the animals and working together. It was fun and I adopted a falcon, Mandela. He's got one wing and now I sponsor him.
Other animals are the two lions at the house, Zion and Trust, the 18 tame cheetahs and the two baby baboons, Kewin and Mimi. We slpt with the baboons, two meercats and a small vervet monkey, Poepie. We slept under the stars and herard the wild lions "talking" every morning.
I've never had as many blue marksat the same time - bushes, threes and animals.
Every Sunday we played football against the local bushmen, we normally lost. :o)
Namibia is beautiful - bush landscape, what you normally think about then you say AFrica. IT got very hot while I was there, around 30 degrees, but it also turned greener.
I could write pages about Harnas - wanted to stay! When I get my photos online, I'll write more.
Love from Signe.
