Day 2. Day 1 of the actual walk completed successfully! No blisters, a few achey joints but nothing a few beverages haven't cured! The walk itself, dare we say it, was fairly easy! We had a hairy moment with some scottish cows, sian headed for an escape over barbed wire until our mate rob saved the day herding! The walking itself hasnt been too taxing, pretty views and a lunch stop at the glengoyne distillery for a few wee drams (not to our taste really but the tour was good!). We're well aware that these 'easy' stages are just lulling us into a false sense of security, it will get harder! The braeside b&b where we're staying is lovely, Colin and Scott have made us welcome apart from laughing at us for going to bed at 8.30 on a Saturday night!
Tomorrow we have a 13mile 'stroll' along Loch Lomond, with an ascent of conic hill along the way. We'll blog again (wifi permitting) when we get to Rowardennan tomorrow! Xxx

Sian's mum Sounds fantastic. Enjoy! How many million midges so far?
Christophe's Dad Well done Sian. How come we stopped at the cafe but you stopped at the distillery? Hope the weather stays fair for you.
