So the started off with an amaaazing half an hour train ride to Cascais.

Everyone kept talking about Cascais so I had sky high expectations from the place. Turns out it is a collection of 3-4 very small beaches. I like never ending stretches of water and huge sandy beaches. Hence I was a little disappointed. But it is a very touristy town, with lot of eating places, shopping outlets and water activities.
We did walk by this cruise party and I was just dying to go crash it!
Red Bull had totally colonized the whole place. They had tents, kiosks, posters everywhere. They were getting ready for some event, music and fireworks were being set up, but we didn't get to see any of that. But we did get a free lunch from them :P
A very interesting thing we stumbled upon was the Torre de santo antonio.

There was a documentary being played there that I found really gripping. It sopke about how the fort was rediscovered in 1988 and stated some pretty interesting facts too. Apparently the fort was build to keep off pirates! And when it was discovered, they found some grinding tools in it with flour still in it. How cool is that!
