Had a really long, but lovely walk today. The sun was lovely and shiny and warm, so it was probably the perfect day to have a nice coastal walk. The weather didn't look too great in the morning, and it rained a fair bit so I was a bit miserable about the day. However, the rain did ease off and so I decided to head out for the Harbour Bridge walk. Luckily the rain held off and so it ended up being quite a nice sunny afternoon so it was great for a wander about. It rained quite a bit during the night, and a fair bit during the day - booooooooooo. So, museum day it was today. I went to the Museum of Contemporary Art first as I could take the ferry straight to Circular Quay and walk over from the harbour. Love that ferry - so convenient! Didn't feel too bad today which was good and so had a great time on the Opera House tour. It lasted about an hour and we got to see the inside and also heard the Sydney Symphony Orchestra rehearsing! Apparently they're not always rehearsing when we go into the concert hall as they might go for a tea break or something, so they don't tell you at the beginning. Luckily my cold hadn't taken over in the night, so I woke up not feeling too bad. Bit tired, but not like I had the flu or anything thankfully! So, I decided to go to the 70s street festival in The Rocks area in the end.I didn't really know what to expect, but it was really good in the end. Quite a few people turned up in some sort of costume - mostly knee high boots, and some crazy 70s prints! A few ladies turned up in full on costumes - afro wigs, mini dresses,...
