Hello from London!
Some pictures have been uploaded into a 'London' album - make sure you check them out! You're crazy if you think those are the only ones we have ;)
Day two featured a trip to The Tower of London via a Thames river cruise. We saw alot of London from the water, such a great experience! And a beautiful day! Temperature topped out at about 28 degrees...
We spent a good part of the morning/afternoon at the Tower of London walking through the grounds, hearing from the historical guides, and poking our heads in and out of some seriously amazing architecture - so well preserved. We were absolutely astounded at the beauty and rich historic significance of this place. A highlight for sure!
Next, we headed towards St.Pauls Cathedral... and we found it pretty easily. It is...HUGE! And really, words can't describe the enormity, and splendor of Londons most famous church. Indoors, we could not stop gaping... just, spectacular architecture and decor.
We lucked out, as we fell upon an organ recital in the apse of the cathedral. Featuring the works of masters...Bach, Mendelsson etc.
another long, full and memorable day...

Donna Marie Soule WOW...great that you got in on the organ recital (I've heard that being the organist in this church is a much-coveted position & people make applications from all over the world). Was your tour guide the famous Sir Christopher Wren? Your photo's are great! Glad you're having fun.
