Yay...I've just finished my last and longest shift. 6pm till 1.30pm! Intense! Just finished packing my bags and getting ready to catch the train to my next destination...Birmingham! I start work at the RSPCA on tuesday!

Not much to report...the small amount of my spare time over the past week has been spent sleeping. I've had some quiet shifts, but, also some really intense ones! We've had things like respitratory ditress, pancreatic patients, exploratory laprotomy (spleenic and liver tumour). emergency cat spey (pyometra) etc. I've definately learnt a lot in my short time here.

I'm looking forward to some shorter shifts and weekends off! Can't wait to have a bit of a breather and explore!

I've made some great friends here and I will miss them! In particular fellow nurse, Robin, the nurse from Wisbech, Gemma and my fellow Kiwi, Monique. It's been great having such refreshing people to lighten things.
