15 - 18 July - UK - London
Our week passed with child minding interspersed with dinners out. We joined cousin Alex out for a lovely Turkish meal at EY near Waterloo station, then the following evening dinner at Jamie's Italian in Coventry Garden and then onto the West End to the Lyceum for the stage production The Lion King. Both dinner & show were great & it was fun to be around Coventry Garden enjoying the sunshine & the 'buzz' of London on a summers evening.
On Thursday we took the twins out for the day to St Katherine's dock which is near Tower Bridge. It was a very warm day so we needed to seek out shade. Had a pleasant time feeding them & looking at all the boats in the marina there & enjoyed an excellent lunch from a small deli called the Boat Shed. The point of difference here was the ability to choose an individual platter of cold meats & cheeses ( charged for per item) then you cut off your own slices of bread from a bakery table as & when you wanted them. Delicious!!
We managed the double buggy on the station & platform well and a good day was had by all.
