So after all the planning, with the help of Sam (the ideas man), Kris (the medal provider) and Hien (the fundraising expert) the Owiimpics finally happened.

There were over 50 participants from 10 departments who took part and made the event the fun filled fundraiser it should have been.

There was a technical hiccup at the start of the day, but everyone was very understanding and patient and we had a smooth ride for the rest of the day.

The three events were 100m freestyle (swimming), Trampoline and 110m Hurdles. Gold, silver and bronze medals were awarded for each!

We raised over £50 for Planeterra and had a laugh in the process..
