Good morning Cali :) we have arrived!!! Finally :) (view from our hotel of Irvine, Orange County) the journey was tough yesterday through valleys & mountain passes and rough concrete roads we were both extremely tired but my little EOS got us here in one peice - thank God :) I think if I had to do this trip again, I would do it in 4 or 5 days not 3....12 to 14 hours plus a day driving is tough!!! even with 2 drivers, but we made it :) and are both thankful we made it here in one peice with no major glitches. fuel wasn't too bad actually it worked out just over $200 but I would not stay in a roadside motel again if I could avoid it, but at least I can say I have done the whole American route 66 road Trip experience :)
