We had pure sunshine all day today. Another day sight seeing on our own found our feet now we are away.... Took city train to wynyard the connection to circular quay where we boarded the open top Sydney explorer bus. We had a great tour around the city lots of information over ear phone, can remember a little that the bridge took 9 yrs to build, 15000 workers worked on it and was known back then as the iron lung as it brought work to the city in the biggest recession Australia experienced, and crocodile Dundee ( Paul hogan ) was one of the painters before he became famous. We have seen the wonderful sky line if this remarkable city from all directions and there is plenty to come back for. Included was a second route Bondi beach tour we got of at Bondi beach famous for its surf golden sand just like all Australia beaches just pure paradise, here we had lunch ( good old fish n chips ) followed by a little later an ice cream from Ben and gerrys which you had to eat fast before it melted, we hopped back on bus to central station where we picked up the city tour bus back to circular key. We went into a sml shop there and found some nice zip up fleeces finished the day with a coffee and took a taxi back to Kay's.
This was to be our last day here in Australia very sad but have had a great time with big thanks to our Darlin niece Kay, her wonderful hubby Tim and two very loving boys Mav and Sax will miss them loads.
Flying off to New Zealand in morning only 3 hr flight not so bad to spend some time with Neil and his wonderful family.
