Hi all, just want to say God has been so good to us this trip. Its not always easy being in a country where communication is difficult and you don't have a clue how things work but He has guided and provided for us in every way. and we're having such fun!

Well today we got up early and after breakfast we were picked up and taken out into the beautiful Chiang Mai countryside where we went quadbiking for the morning. What a gorgeous place, green rice paddies, ladies in conical hats and stunning flowers, rolling green hills thick with forests. Just wonderful!

The bikes were a little old and had no clutch so changing gears was rather difficult, something i could not master and ended up on the back of Shaun's huge quadbike, which was rather fun cos i just got to enjoy the scenery while he navigated the very bumpy terrain. When we came to the end of our bumpy journey we were brown with dust, but didn't care it was such fun!

there's a lovely night market in the street outside our hotel tonight, loads of thai silk pashminas, cushion covers and other bags, beautiful wooden bedside lamps, food, food, food.

Off to visit the ellies tomorrow. Still looking for flights to Vietnam tho, seems we may have to go back to Bangkok and fly to Hanoi from there. Oh well, just means more time to shop in the amazing Bangkok markets.
