Hello Everyone!

This will be my last blog before I leave for Uganda! In less than 24 hours I will be on a plane leaving Heathrow.

The last week has been so surreal that words can hardly describe, but I'll give it a go anyway. I've said so many farewells they all seem to have blended in together and yet when I finally stop to think about it all, all the emotions come flooding in and I start to realise just how much everyone in my life means to me. I never really understood the saying "You don't realise what you've got until it's gone" and this phrase has really struck home as I'm doing the little things in life for the last time.

I would also like to thank anybody who has/is or will be praying for me because it is quite overwhelming to be told by so many people that you are in their thoughts and prayers. I can't explain the feeling but the closest I can seem to get to it is heart-warming with a sense of security because I've realised more and more over the last few days that without God's presence in my life, I will not be able to cope and there are a few people out there that have helped me in the last few days,weeks,months and years become who I want to be and although I'm not there yet, I know my destiny and I'm on the right path.

Yet again, thank you everyone for all your support and prayers! My next blog will be coming from Uganda!
