We arrived safely in San Pedro Sula. On the flight, we were surprised to see the 80% of the flight was filled with volunteers. There were at least 4 or 5 organizations on mission trips. We met up with the rest of the team and got ready for another 3 hour ride to Santa Rosa de Copan. The driver loaded the luggages on top of them and covered them with a green sheet. The guide told us the minimum wage was recently raised to $320 a month. This unfortunately has led to higher unemployment rate as companies cannot afford the wage.
