Sha's Travels
We woke up early to go on a pilgrimage hike. We are going to Quezailica to visit Santa Rosa, a black Christ El Senor de Buen Fin, that was brought by the Spaniards in 16th century. People go there to ask for miracles. In return , pilgrims get a ribbon. After a 4 hour hike, we arrived at the village where there was a big festival in the church plaza. It reminds me of the night market with swarms of people. The locals stared at us as if they have never seen white people or Orientals for me & E in this case. We were advised to not go to the the church because of the crowd. So in the afternoon we headed toward the bus. With the insane traffic and crowd, it took us 2 hours to wait for the bus. I guess that's what Honduran time means.
