We leaved Nairobi for 6 days ago, and went to serengeti national park. We stayed in serengeti for one week. We rented a Range rover, and lived at the top of the car in a tent inside serengeti. The first day, we arrived serengeti 22:15 local time. So we just placed our luggage, placed the tent and fell asleep. The next morning we had to plan wich animals we should look after the first day. And who the next days. Our guide suggested that we should look for ''The big five''. The big five is, the lion, the elephant, the rhino, the leopard and the buffalo. I insisted that we looked for the lion first, and just follow the order from our guide. We drove for 2 hours before or guide said we where inside the lion territory. Our guide told us to keep our eyes open, because the it is not so easy to see this time at the day. It did not take to long before we figured out why. It was lunch time! After 30 minutes driving around in the lion territory we finally spotted some lions lying under a tree. Dad picked up the camera very quickly and got some pictures of them. Before we got ask our guide if it was possible to go out, he were only a few meters from them. He waved us towards him, and told us that there was no danger because they had just eaten. We got a few pictures from a close hold and drove away. We drove bit longer into the lion territory, but did not see any lions before 15:00. There were a big bunch of lions, with only females except one male. It were not difficult to see who the leader were. The big male lion where standing on the top of the rocks and roared so I think the whole africa heard him. After 10 minutes with the lions it were lunch time. After lunch we drove towards the camp. Since the camp where 3 hours away we would not be back before 18:30. After dinner we went right to bed. Next morning it were the elephants turn. We did not leave the camp before 11:30, something the guide disliked very much. Futunately the elephant territory did not lie more then a half hour away from our camp. It did not take long time before we saw the first elephant, it were a big elephaant mother with her child. Our guide did not drive close to the elephant because the elephant is s big that if it feels threatend it will attack our car. So we had to accept the longrange pictures. It took a long time before we saw elephants again. After lunch time we found a dirthole, with a whole bunch of elphants. Here we got some close range pictures, and we had enough elephants for today. The next morning we went after the rhino, but had to go home with no pictures. We got a bit more luck the day after. We found a rhino fight. Of course we couldent go out, but we drove as close as possible, and got some good pictures. We drove home towards the camp around 19:00, with no more rhinos. We got what we needed for our album so, the next days we would use to the leopard. If we had some time left we would look for the buffalo. It was the second last day, we were inside the leopard territory, when we saw a leopard running after an antilope. After driving after in 2 minutes the leopard got the atilope. We got some very good pictures of the running leopard and under the attack, and we are happy with the pictures and went home. We did not have enough time to see the last of the ''big five'', the buffalo. We went back to Nairobi for staying there almost the rest of the vication. Except of some on day trips to african villages and to mount Kenya.
