Today we arrived the Kilimanjaro airport in Tanzania. When we got out of the plane it was like a punch in the face by the hot climate. So the clothes went right off. Kilimanjaro airport is a pretty simple airport. It is not so big, but big enough to get on and off the plane. My dad propably looked a bit leary, because he had to go through the security control three times. Even if it not beeped any of the times he walked through. There was no problems with the bags, so we just picked them up and got a taxi to drive us to Nairobi. Nairobi is the capital of Kenya. When we arrived Nairobi, the city supprised us very positive. I had never tought that it could be a so modern and nice city in Africa. My dad asked the the taxi driver if he could take us on a "tour" in Nairobi, and of course he did it for the money. After the tour, he drove us to the sarova stanley. The sarova stanley is the hotel we will have as our "main camp". We are going to stay there all the time we are not doing something special, like sightseeing, safari and other tourist stuff. The first day we were pretty tierd and did not wanted to go out to eat or anything. We just ate at the hotel and walked to bed afterwards.
We woke up very early the next morning, because of the timezone. As soon as we woked up we got downstairs for the breakfast. After we had our breakfast we went out for sightseeing. The city is so huge and have so much to offer. We had not enough time to see the whole city, but there is a day tomorrow. The day after tomorrow we will leave the city and go to Serengeti national park, for going to safari.
