So. Trevor and I went on an adventure to Detroit to see some pretty cars. I had a lot of fun, but Trevor was a grumpy pants most of the time because everything was too loud. :P
The day started off fine, we woke up at like 6am so we could leave the house and get to where the bus was supposed to pick us up on time. But, the bus ended up being an hour and half later. Not cool. Everyone was all worried there wouldn't be enough time to see everything, but we had more then enough. It all turned out alright.
It took us almost forty minutes to get over the border, but the two guys that came on the bus to check all our passports were funny and they didn't hassle anyone too much. So that made the time go by a bit faster. We had no probalems at all on the way there, or back. So that's a bonus!
I got to see lots of cars and fancy things. I will admit I have no idea about anything to do with cars and trucks and what not. I just think the fancy ones are pretty and I like taking pictures of things. haha
When everyone was all done and full of cars, we went out to dinner as a big ol' group to this mexican resturant. It looked really sketchy from the outside, but inside it wasn't that bad. We got a whole room to ourselves and everyone had to sit with each other and force small talk. It wasn't that bad though. I had enchiladas for the first time. They were pretty good.
And that was pretty much our day. It was long and tiring and I had to pee a lot, but I had a good time. I took lots of pictures and made friends with the owner of Derky department store in Aylmer. We bonded over cameras. I got some free goodies too, a couple bags, a keychain and some books about cars. Good times.
