Chicago was a blasty blast.
6 hour train ride there. 6 hour train ride back.
It was midnight by the time we got there and we all pretty much went straight to bed. It was a beautiful hotel. Very swanky. I felt way to poor to be there. I was like a VIP or something. It was great.
First day there we adevntured around town. Went to Millienium Park so I could see the giant bean. I was so excited to see that. Ever since I read Will Grayson Will Grayson by John Green, I wanted to see the bean. It was so great. We went to eat at some crazy cafeteria style resturant. It was pretty good.
Trevor, his mum and I went to the Shedd Aqurium to see the jellyfish. They were awesome. We were also able to see a dolphin show and watch a 4D movie on planet earth. Pretty spiffy. We went to the sky deck that night as well. 103 floors up the Sears tower. Which now has another name I can never remember. It was awesome to see the city lit up at night. You can see four states from the top of the tower. It was cool. Trevor also faced his fears and stood on the glass floor with me to get our picture taken. I was very happy! I love pictures!
The next day Trevor and I got up really really early so we could do all the other stuff I wanted to do. We went to the Field Muesuem first. Saw dinosaurs and taxedermy animals. We were also able to go to the speical exhibits too. There were three of them and we saw them ALLLLLLLL. I couldn't take pictures though. ):
After the muesum we went to The Art Institute of Chicago. I was so excited for that. I love art galleries. I saw real live Dali paintings!! And Picasso's, Van Gogh's, American Gothic and Lichtenstien! Freakin Roy Lichtenstien. It was the happiest day of my life! It was so exciting. I was so happy. I got prints afterwards too. They are pretty.
We went for dinner all together after that and then headed to the train station. It was a good couple of days. It was so fun. And I was glad I could spend some time with Trevor away from all the stress and crap I have to deal with at home.
