Arrived in Amsterdam at about midday. Searched for our hotel and booked it in Starbucks then had a cheeky Burger King before heading to the hotel.
Getting to the hotel took a while as the metro station right next to our hotel wasn't open for the duration of our stay. Typical. Just our luck. Had to get buses and trains to the hotel. Once we got there we relaxed for a while before heading out to dam square. There was the national monument, Madame tusades an the red light district.
We went to an Argentinian place for dinner and I had chicken fillet with chips and salad. Very original. Then we decided to stroll through some small roads and check out the tack in souvenir shops... Came across some funny stuff. Willy pasta for e.g.
Later on in the evening we decided to go to ice bar which is supposedly the coldest bar ever...-10•C
It really was bloody cold. Even with the poncho and gloves it was still freezing but we danced to keep ourselves warm. And made a Brazilian friend to huddle with, her name was ferlnander... I think?
After freezing our asses of at the ice bar we went to the red light district with our new friend and saw the naked ladies in the windows dancing and the coffee shops. We went into a coffee shop and tried out some of the local foods. Had some fun there ;)
