So sorry to hear this , Emily. I'm guessing they've given you lots of advice for your recovery which will take another few days with plenty of rest and complimentary foods. You seem to be slightly ahead of the schedule I noted in my diary when we talked about it so I'm assuming you have plenty of time to recuperate to build up your strength up again in the next few days? Bananas and breads and anything prepackaged could be helpful in betweens ? The drip was probably some kind of aggressive anti-biotic to deal with the parasite you mention so that should have been eradicated by now. Don't know what else to say at this point. It's quite late here and I checked your site just before bed as I usually do and tried to call you as soon as I saw it .Please try and let us know how you're feeling tomorrow if it's at all possible but don't worry if it's not . Maybe Sam could just post a quick note. Feel a bit redundant as there's not a lot I can do to help here but so relieved he is with you. Helen and I have just been for a bike ride, and got drenched, and nearly blown away - joys of the English summer. But guess what? Granddad and I are going to Italy on July 16th for one week (Lake Garda).

Great to be able to keep in touch. So pleased everything's going according to plan. Of course, I'm not typing this, Lauren's doing it for me on her laptop.

Just read your latest post Ems. Seems like seasoned travellers have taken the place of the wide-eyed novices of three weeks ago! (You should try to keep a diary so can capture all the wonderful moments you're experiencing. Great news about your 2-1. What a clever girl. We're all very proud of you. Sam - Germany v Spain in the final of Euro 2008 tonight. I'm guessing you won't get to a TV with the match on there . I think it could be Spain's time at last . Love to you both . Keep safe.
