To all the worriers.....feeling a lot better today and finsihed one course of medicine. Thanks for all the messages, but pls dont worry too much because i really am feeling better and i was in the best hands at hospital, it was private!! Iv been sleeping loads and trying very hard to get my appetite back. This will be the last post about illness because i want to get back on the positive vibe!!!! im nrly 100% again and ready to restart the fun and games all over again! I've forwarded an email from Nicky which is loaded with homeopathic suggestions sorced by ana and a doctor friend. She wanted to send you all the items and is trying to get in touch but time is a constraint so has asked me - as she has problems out there with internet to find somewhere you can get it.Their suggestion is that it's VERY advisable to take local remedies rather than just relying on conventional medicine. I have managed to find a lady homeopath in Cusco who works at a Center of Traditional Medicine there . Hi both of you ....Sam I have emailed you with more info and advice and would really like some feedback on where you are and going to be so I can send you a few things ...I know its difficult but I am sure you planned to stay in Peru for abit so do try....The sun continues to shine here [would love a couple of rainy days!!!!] and we have had lots of fiestas in the village partying until dawn and rolling back down the hill to bed. We had a fab day in Cabrera and tonight we are going to see Buika in Palma as the live music season kicks in....appart from that it has been lots of cementing and now gardening trying to organise everything to be left again for I dont know how long....please read your emails and congratulations to you both on your wonderful exam results...love you and miss you mumxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Well done for the 1st in your dissertation. Nana and Granddad said how marvellous it was. I bet you'd like to visit Guernsey one day. My back's killing me after all my gardening today - probably won't be able to walk tomorrow. Rory's in the middle of a 6th form induction this week, and we're all busy planning for a BBQ this weekend with Sylvie, your dad and the children. And guess what? It's going to pour down - no such worries for you two!

Great to hear from you again, Ems. Soooooo glad you're feeling a bit better but it'll probably take a while longer til you feel your proper self again. You've had some great messages with lots of good advice so don't think anymore is needed from me. How's Sam feeling now. Is he completely recovered? My Sam thinks Kim may be coming down this weekend. Phoebe went for tea at his last night after her audition because I had to go to the new parents eve at Roundhay. Really strange experience for me and must admit I got a huge lump in my throat at one point. We're such a bunch of softies! Anyway , she's happy with her form group and teacher and is really looking forward to it. Just had quick scan thro' your messages.So like Mel to get straight in there no holds barred and say what everyone's thinking! Ems I hope you're ok!! I've been at home with broken internet and only just checked blog today. You poor thing. keep strong, eat lots (if possible), drink lots of fluids and remember we are all thinking of you. Like you said these expereinces make you stronger! You got your results!!!!! Well done ems, that's brilliant! And a First in the diss!! I got mine too...also a 2.1 so I'm a happy chappy at the moment!! I got first in my dissertation too-can't actually believe it-my first first!!I'll miss you at graduation but SA is certainly a good alternative.

Goddamit Emily, you scared the crap outta me! Can i call you at the hostel? Would love to hear you say you're OK. Mum just texted me the news, my heart jumped a mile. I was just worrying about how would we know if you're OK down there day to day. Do you keep a cell phone with you for emergenices? OK, I'll quit now, but take good care of yourself! Other than that sounds and looks like you're having the most immense time, keep getting all emotional every time i look at the blog. Would give absolutely anything for Sam and I to be helping you recuperate and travel with you over the next month or so!!
