Its Heather updating our blog today! We had a really good day here in Bangkok. It was an early morning start, we left Khao San at around 7 in the morning to make our way out to the floating market. This market is a series of about 200 canals, all hand dug by the chinese who came to start the market. Today the market is still used by the community living on the canals but then turns into a tourist place. It was pretty hectic and chaotic with all the boats but really really cool. Leanna and I sat in the boat and drank from our first coconut, opened right before our eyes. We also saw our first monkey, but it was a pet and had a very short leash so it was kind of sad.
Tomorrow is a very long travel day. We are heading to Siem Reap and its about a 12 hours bus ride/border crossing! I am a bit stressed about it so think happy thoughts for us.
P.S. Uncle Brian : I will try spot again but I have tried several times with a clear view of the sky......
P.P.S. We probably won't get a chance to write tomorrow because of the long travel day.
