Started out early with a stop at our neighborhood Starbucks then the Tube to St. Paul's Cathedral (4th largest in the world), site of Charles/Diana wedding of 1981. Got up at 6:45. Don't even remember sleeping. We all are putting on layers this morning because it's 52 and breezy outside. First, took Tube to Picadilly to eat breakfast (McDonalds) then hopped the blue line of the bus tour. Drove through Kensington and Hyde Park (very ritzy), SoHo, Oxford Street for an hour. Got off the bus, walked through Hyde Park (the actual park) to Buckingham Palace. Stood by the front gate and waited crunched in with a kaziliion oth...

Took the Tube to Westminster Abbey and took the tour. Awesome! Saw so much history in one place. Graves of all the kings and queens for the last 1000 years plus Chaucer, Darwin, Sir Isaac Newton, Lawrence Olivier, Frederik Handel, etc. Then we Tubed it to eat at Ed's Easy Diner where we talked to the owner who talked about buying real estate in Europe. 11:30pm here. Back in London. Just ate Chinese takeout and brought it back to our apartment. Our train ride from Paris to London took almost 3 hours. 4:30 am, about to take a taxi to the train station on our way to Paris. We'll spend the night there and return to London tomorrow night. We all caught up on some of our sleep last night. Not sure if we'll have a wireless tonight so we'll post more when we can. Au revoir! How's Lola?
