So we arrived after another train journey in Prague at 5pm on Wednesday. We got the metro to our hostel which was very basic as an understatement but in an indeal lcation for viewing the city. We walked up to Prague castle and looked around but to Scott's dismay it was not a castle as he would have liked, more of a church area. We walked back over the Karluv bridge (pictured above) with lots of buskers and stalls. After that we went on the ghost tour, expecting to be scared out of our wits but again to scott's dissapointment it was pretty rubbish at best. The woman guide seemed very uninterested and kept forgetting her stories. Her "co-star" who was meant to scare us was a bloke dressed up in terrible outfits jumping out from behind corners, we are laughing about it now! The next day we spent wandering around the old town, visited the Salvador Dali exhibition and the medieval torture museuum (very good!). We then got ourselves ready to go on an organised pub crawl, very good fun, met lots of people and were taught how to drink absynth properly and Scott asked to be immortalised on the tour (dont even ask!!) . And that was our stay in Prague - a very beautiful city with lots to see and you can definitly feel the medieval side to it as many of the religious statues have been left black with pollution.
As always we are having problems uploading the photos but will keep trying. We are currently in Krakow and now need to run as getting on a tour to Auschwitz.
Love and kisses as always xxxxxxxxxxxxx
