Day 19
Today we got to have a lie in, well we chose to miss a walk around the town so that we could but it was a much deserved one! We went into the city centre with Helen and Mellissa and Scarlett got a McDonalds and Stu got a KFC. I know that's all we talk about but this way we can keep track of how many we have and maybe we'll stop eating all this crap before it's too late...or maybe not. So anyway we then did a bit of shopping and Stu got an Abercrombie t-shirt for about a fiver which should of been alot more.
We then went up the Menora Tower which was so high, that as you went up, your ears popped and Helen felt motion sickness haha! We wanted to go up the Petronas Towers but they were closed! Don't ask why because it's just stupid! But the view up the Menora Tower was amazing! It was a 360 view and the twin towers looked great! We got a taxi back to china town which was about 50p each because we were too hot to even walk to the train station! There are loads of market stalls outside the hotel so we had a look aournd there. People are shouting you all the time to buy something and most of the stalls sell knock off clothes, watches etc. Scarlett got an Anna Sui purse down from a tenner to 7 pound.
We ate at the Reggae bar and you'll all be pleased to know that Stu had spaggheti carbonara and Scarlett had a pizza, OK that's not that healthy but still. We got some vodka and beer from the shop and got ready for a night out in KL. We were celebrating Mellissa's birthdya because she was ill on it. We went to a club called the Thai Cowboy which was so fun. But started off quite badly with Stu losing his mobile and spending about an hour trying to ring the taxi company and home. But he put it past him for the night and got drunk. The drama continued when Suzy broke her camara that she had bought that day and Lora lost hers. What a group hey! People were coming up to us and asking where we were from and they were all so friendly. We made friends with so many people there and one of them even got Stu on the podium hahahaha! But there was one guy who was too friendly and was about 45 and was pestering all the girls so Stu said we were all his little sisters. But it didn't stop him so we got him chucked out. It was quite expensive in there for Malaysia but we spent 15pound at the most on the whole night whcih is better then a Manchenight out in Manchester!
We met a guy called boogie man who pretty much that, the man who boogies. Paulo had met him before and swapped bracelets with him to remember each other and he gave one of his to Scarlett who was very touched, he was a legend. We then got back to china town to find the '24 hour' McDonalds was closed! And our plans to carry on raving at the street bar were broken when we realised we had to be up in 3 hours for another long journey.
Love you and miss you, love Scarlett and Stu
P.S thankyou for all your messages on the board, we love opening this up and reading what you think. We're struggling to find computers that let you put pictures on as most of them don't ahve the software but we're trying our best! And we'll start eating healthy food when we get to oz and understand the menus! xxxxxxxx
