Got to Tupiza a little earlier than we thought and checked in to a hostel that was run by an ex nurse and doctor. We booked our tour with the people on the hostel as their reputation was good and it wasn't that bad a price. We also had the nicest room we had the whole time as it was the only one left, a twin with private bathroom for £7 each, not bad. We rested for a while, then checked out Tupiza, a pretty small town and booked a horse back tour for the afternoon. The horse back tour was hilarious, just me and Chris and a guide that didnt speak, let alone speak English. And the horses were incredibly slow. It was a three hour tour and took us about 4 1/2! But the scenery was amazing. Bolivia just changes its scenery so much it's beautiful. We saw crazy rock formations and mountains and just stunning colours. After we got off the horse my thighs killed! So. Much. Pain. Ha. We then headed back to the hostel had another little rest and went for some dinner at a local place which was Wild West themed, played 90's love songs with the videos and had walls cover in pictures of famous people. The burgers were great though and only £1.20 or a whole meal. On the way out the man asked for our photo with this cowboy statue and then showed us a picture of Will smith in the same place. Crazy. Then bed called ready for our salt flats trip the next day.
