It's our first day in Perth (well we actually arrived yesterday but as we had been up all night on a plane we simply slept). We're slumming it in a hostel, although we do have our own room with ensuite bathroom, and we're gonna be slumming it even more as of Monday 'cos we've just booked a campervan for a month. Our hotel was well posh but v cheap because it was 45 mins out of the city. It's very easy to get around though, we had an electronic card to use on all trains, buses, trams, ferries and even in the 7/11's and Macdonalds (and yes Brian did partake in a Mcd's - boooo). Hi everyone, Just a quick one as on rubbish internet in hotel. Alls going well, apart from a bout of bird flu each which we have now recovered from (OK, could have been jet lag).
