Wow, looking back on my previous posts, i can't believe how much has changed and happened lately. I guess i have been pretty bad about updating this!

On the job front, i started off loving being at la senza, earning some money, and making new friends, but that didn't last long. My job title changed and although i was getting slightly more money i was hating the role and dreaded going into work each day. The novelty of being in a new city, commuting each day and earning a pittance really started to wear thin. That is not what i want for my year here, so i handed in and worked my weeks notice. I also did some temping this weekend for a Mary Kay convention which was so much fun! So right now i am pretty sure that i am going to be moving to Whistler, BC. I've come to realise these last few weeks that i only have a year here (assuming i can't get another visa) and i want to see and do as much as possible in my remaining time. I figure that Whistler would be an awesome time to spend some time, there seems to be a lot to do there in the summer, as well as there being a glacier which means i can go riding still! Now that i've decided where i want to move to next, i now need to sort out the practicalities of it e.g. selling my bed, skates and various other items, getting to whistler, sorting out a job and accomodation. Can't be that hard can it??

I am super excited to be going to Naples, Florida this weekend to spend a week and a half with my family. I've really missed them so it will be lovely to see them again. Not to mention it should be +30 most days, which will be a nice change from the snow! I have this week free before i leave, so i will be spending it trying to sort out the practicalities of moving, revising and taking my exam at SAIT and if i can fit it in, a days snowboarding somewhere.

Jen and i also took a trip to Golden, BC the other weekend which was a lot of fun. We went snowboarding both days, so needless to say we came back as a mass of weary and sore limbs!
