Hey all, I am now currently in Rainbow Beach, just chilling before i go on a 3 day camping trip to Fraser Island!The largest sand Island in the world!!!! We arrived at Rainbow beach last night after a long 2 days of travelling!!!! We travelled from 7 in the morning until 6 in the evening!!!!! We had a great overnight stop though at Kroombit Cattle ranch. We arrived around 6 and then had dinner which was beef from the ranch. We also tried some goat as well. We decided to become ringers and had to wear our hat and bandana to get cheap drinks, we also did whip cracking and mechanical bull riding. The next day we were up at 6 to do some goat lassoing!!!! We then had to catch a goat using out lassoing techniques!!!! Our team name was Goat's cheese haha lame!!!! We then jumped up on our horses (mine was called Mad Max) and herded the goats across the 10,000 acres of land that the ranch own. We were riding across the planes and tehre were a family of Roo's just chilling!!!! It was soooo cool, we were riding for around 2 hours and rode through a lake to cool the horses off although we nearly got soaked as it was so deep. Once we had finished riding, John the cowboy asked me to give a demonstration of how to dismount from the horse and thought i was very nimble lol !!! First time i have been called that ! We then had to endure a 8 hour bus journey to Rainbow, we stopped at a place called Maryborough which is were mary Poppins was written, theres a pic of me with her!!!!! Internet is free whilst im in Rainbow as they messed up our booking, we arrived yesterday at around 6 to find that our booking was mucked up and that there was no spare beds anywhere!!!! We had top vacate the security guard and stay in his room , lol! To make up for it teh hostel has given us a dorm to ourselves, 2 free nights, 2 free meals and free drinks!!!! Wahoo gonna save a bit o money now hopefully!!!!! Will updat after Fraser Island, if i return, apparently the Dingo's are pretty aggressive over there!!!!! Missing everyone back home and thanks for the messages (p.s. adele i couldnt fir a kangaroo in the envelope so i settled for a koala) xxxxxx
