We left Innsbruck about seven thirty this morning. About an hour out of the city it starts snowing again. This time it's cingular down really hard. There was a good couple of inches on the ground within a few minutes. It was pretty fun.
About quarter to eleven we arrived in Vadez, the capital of Lychenstine. It was miserably cold and wet so nobody was keen to have a good look around. Not that there was a whole lot to see. The best looking thing in town was the group of young Scottish men in their kilts. They had been there for a soccer game. We also changed some our money into Swiss francs. Then it was off to Lake Lucerne.
Lucerne feels like a fairytale, with it's church's and spires and flowers everywhere. It's so disappointing that it's raining. It's really coming down. Between the rain and the fact everything here closes at four on a Saturday there won't be a lot of shopping here. Which is probably a good thing as everything is really expensive here. Still I think I'll have to try the chocolate. We have the afternoon to ourselves, after wandering the city a bit I went back to the hotel for a bit of a sleep.
At seven we headed out to dinner at a traditional Swiss restaurant. Half way through dinner they started up with a few musicians playing Swiss songs and a singer yodeling. They kept asking people to come up on stage and try things out. I tried the yodeling and got a free beer out of it.
It had stopped raining by the time dinner was over so the walk back was quite nice.
