We made an early start exploring the city, we headed towards the Golden Gate Bridge to see what was down that area we ended up on electric scooters which were great, $1 set up fee then you pay per minute for use then just park them up anywhere, the LIME app locates them for you and unlocks them! We did about 10km on them taking in the sights finding ourselves at the summit of the historic Telegraph Hill where the 210-foot Coit Tower, also known as Coit Memorial Tower. This elegant tapering column was built in 1933, the legacy of San Francisco’s colorful Lillie Hitchcock Coit the 360 view from the top of the tower of the city was great! We then headed into a few bars around north beach one called The Saloon which opened in 1861, it's currently the oldest saloon of San Francisco and for decades has offered dancing and live music it was an experience and the beer was cheap so Kurt was more than happy! We ended the night in little Italy which was full of traditional Italian restaurants cafes and bars we got an amazing pizza & Italian beer! We walked back to the hotel both in full agreement we loved San Francisco...
