We had breakfast & packed up our rucksacks ready to leave tomorrow, we walked down to the wildcard gym which is just off Hollywood Boulevard Kurt has always wanted to visit as it’s a famous gym where some of the worlds best have trained, you were allowed to go in & watch training but not take any pictures inside! We had dinner in an Irish pub with a few beers whilst we watched David Haye V Bellew boxing fight. We had tickets for Arctic monkeys who were playing at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery which was a small intimate outdoor venue which only held a few thousand, you could take picnic in & your own alcohol. We sat on the lawn with prosecco & wine before they started it was a very surreal atmosphere. They came out & sounded great the new stuff was pretty slow but the classics sounded unbelievable being so close to the stage, the American crowd was pretty subdued at first but soon got warmed up! We went to AVALON Hollywood afterwards which is a famous nightclub, Paul Oakenfold was playing he is a resident over here now & we hoped he might play some old trance tunes! We met a young couple who were big oakie fans we exchanged dance stories & enjoyed a few tequilas with them, Sandra was Mexican so gave us some tips for our next part of the trip! Oakies set wasn’t great but he did play a few classics which we enjoyed & it was a great end to one of the best days!
